Your calendar, a whole month at a glance, on your Echo Show

Month Minder

Our most popular Questions

Month Minder needs an Alexa device with a screen, such as any Echo Show. It shows your calendar on screen, so it won't work on speakers without a display.

Google Calendar (including Google Workspace), Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail and Microsoft 365, and iCloud or any other calendar that can share a public calendar link.

Say "Alexa, open Month Minder" and you'll be asked to link your calendar. Open the Alexa app on your phone, go to Month Minder, and tap Link Account. Then choose Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft, or Paste calendar links, and follow the steps.

On your iPhone, open the Calendar app and tap the calendars icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap ⓘ next to the calendar you want, turn on Public Calendar, then tap Share Link and Copy. Paste the link into Month Minder's link page. You can add up to 5 calendars this way.

Some workplaces only allow apps that their IT team has approved. If you see a message asking for admin approval, ask your IT department to approve Month Minder. It only ever reads your calendar.

Yes, with Premium. Tap Week at the top of the month, or say "show this week". You'll see seven columns with every event's start and end time. Use the arrows or say "next week" to move between weeks, and tap Month to go back.

Yes. Month Minder shows all the calendars in the Google or Microsoft account you link, and you can paste up to 5 calendar links. You can choose which of them appear – see below. At the moment you can link one account at a time.

Tap Calendars at the top of the screen, or say "choose calendars". Tap a calendar to show or hide it, then tap Done. Each Echo remembers its own choice, so you could hide your work calendar on the kitchen Echo and still see it in your office.

The free version shows the current month, and you can choose which calendars appear. Premium unlocks every month, the week view, the day view (tap any day to see its events) and birthdays with ages. It's £4.99 a year after a 7-day free trial.

Say "Alexa, ask Month Minder to start my free trial", or tap Try Premium on the screen and say "yes". You won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Open Month Minder and say "cancel my subscription". You can also manage it in your Amazon account under Memberships & Subscriptions.

No. Month Minder can only read your calendar. It can't add, change or delete anything.

No. Month Minder reads your events each time you open it and doesn't keep a copy. The only thing it remembers is which calendars you've chosen to hide. See our privacy policy for full details.

In the Alexa app, go to Month Minder and choose Disable Skill. You can also remove access from your Google or Microsoft account settings at any time, or turn off Public Calendar on iCloud.

Close Month Minder and open it again to refresh. iCloud calendar links can take a little while to show new events, because Apple updates shared calendars every so often. Also check the event is in the calendar account you linked.

Say "Alexa, close", or tap the Close button at the top of the screen. "Alexa, stop" works too.

Month Minder is currently available in the UK and Ireland, and is coming soon to the US, Canada and Australia.
